5. Harvey Elliott (£5m)

Liverpool have been very unlucky with injuries especially to the midfield area. Thiago, Jones, Keita and Fabinho missing games this early in the season.

This has seen Elliott be given considerable minutes and at £5m a cheap entry into the Liverpool midfield. The Reds face Bournemouth, Newcastle and Everton in the next 3 games, rather easy fixtures on paper.

He has already got a few bonus points and looks set to start the next few games. This would mean you will have to use one of the three Liverpool spots but if you can, Elliott would be an interesting addition to your team.

4. Ilkay Gundogan (£7.6m)

Gundogan has emerged as one of the most underrated players for City, and he has scored 2 in 2 heading into the Palace game. His numbers are up from last season, showing that he is getting into the box more than last season.

4 of his next 5 games are against teams you’d expect them to beat on paper. Even when Bernado Silva played, Gundogan retained his position and looks like a rotation-proof City player to add to your team.

3. Ivan Perisic (£5.5m)

It took him some time to get going, but I think Perisic is now a nailed-on starter. He has the pedigree that Conte yearns for, and his experience & presence will be critical to the attacking threat down the left for Spurs.

He has retained his £5.5m value, so there’s still time for you to add him to your team without having to pay an extra £0.1m. He also faces two promoted sides in his next 3 fixtures, pointing towards a few clean sheets and possible attacking returns.

2. Wilfred Zaha (£7m)

Yes, he faces Man City next but look at what Zaha managed to do against Liverpool’s high line. City were poor against Newcastle and looked vulnerable. Zaha also featured in a more central role, meaning he could get more goal-scoring opportunities.

He did well against Villa scoring a brace, and could have gotten himself a hattrick. He looks confident, and Palace are in good form after the opening day loss to Arsenal.  He has 3 goals in 3, and his ownership is only at 11.4% and could be a good differential pick.

1. Rodrigo (£6.3m)

The most in-form player in the league so far, Rodigo has thrived in his role as the man leading the line for Leeds. The performance against Chelsea showed that he could provide returns even against big teams.

4G and 1A in the league so far, and sometimes you just need to jump on the bandwagon before his performances drop again.

He faces Brighton, Everton, and Brentford in the next 3 games and looks ripe for good returns. Jesse Marsch has retained the attacking flair of this Leeds side while making them defensively solid. Rodrigo is a must-have at this point.
