Harry Kane Edges Close To Shearer’s Premier League Record With Goal Against Leicester

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane’s goal against Leicester became his 17th goal against the Foxes in the Premier League.

The goal made it the most number of times the England captain has scored against a specific opponent in the Premier League i.e. 17 times.

Only Alan Shearer has scored more goals against a particular opponent, scoring 20 times against Leeds in Premier League history.

Only time will tell whether Kane can beat Shearer’s record in the coming seasons.
