The Dortmund left-back has not had the greatest of seasons, missing large chunks of the season due to injuries. Now that he’s back and firing on cylinders he is looking to make an impact.

In spite of making just 23 appearances, he scored 4 and assisted 2, chipping in with goals at key moments.

Portugal plays with their full-backs pushing high up, so having them in your team would be a good decision.

Midfielders

Bernardo Silva – 9

One of the world’s best players, Bernardo Silva is the heartbeat of this Portugal side.

Playing deeper for Manchester City, for Portugal, he is given the freedom to drift around the pitch and create from where ever he likes. 3 assists in the last 2 games further highlight how valuable he is.

Xherdan Shaqiri – 9.5

Although Shaqiri plays in the MLS now, he is always banging them in for his national side. In the MLS he has had a good season contributing to 5 goals.

If there is someone who is capable of scoring for Switzerland and creating a moment of magic, it is him.

Strikers

Diogo Jota – 9.5

After his big move to Liverpool, many thought he’d struggle to get minutes over the established front three. Proving everyone wrong, he has been a key asset for the Reds, scoring 15 and giving 4 assists.

The ageless wonder, still going strong at 37.
