No sooner did we catch our breaths from the action of the last gameweek than GW11 is upon us. Let’s jump right into this gameweek’s ones to watch.

5. Marc Guehi (£4.4m)
With the loss of Reece James from our FPL teams for the considerable future, it’s essential to sell him before he loses value. A cheaper defender to look at would be Guehi. He is at a great price point and is on a very good run of fixtures, and has also delivered a clean sheet in the last gameweek.
He is not the most exciting pick, but I feel he frees up funds to strengthen your squad elsewhere. You could get in another premium midfielder or attacker or upgrade your bench fodder.
4. Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.4m)
What a turnaround this man has had. From laughing stock to one of the most in-form keepers in the league. He seems to be Potter’s preferred keeper and, at £4.4m, is a cheap entry into the Chelsea backline. He put in a magnificent performance against Villa as well and single-handedly kept Chelsea’s clean sheet.
Brentford, United, and Brighton are next, not the best fixtures, but Chelsea is usually a tough team to break down, so Kepa could pick up a couple of clean sheets.
3. Leandro Trossard (£6.9m)
Nottingham Forest is the Norwich of this season, the League’s whipping boys. With Brighton facing them next, Trossard is a great option to go for. He has been in great form and has impressed beyond his hat trick. His positioning just off the striker sees him get into a lot of goalscoring positions.
In a week that City and Arsenal both aren’t playing, he could be a differential captain pick as well.
2. Harry Kane (£11.5m)
If not for Haaland’s unprecedented start to the season, we would indeed be talking more about Kane’s goalscoring. 9G and 1A in 10 games, a goal contribution a game. With Son out of form and Richarlison and Kulusevski injured, the goalscoring impetus is even more on Kane, and he’ll deliver without a doubt.
With people shifting to a more front-heavy team, could you sacrifice players in your defence for a front line of Kane and Haaland? That would be a viable option.
1. Mohamed Salah (£12.7m)
After quite a while, we heard the Kop end chanting Mo Salah’s name, and man, was it well deserved. With 4 goals in his last 2 games, Salah is back. For all the criticism he was getting with people calling him finished for a “slow start” to the season. 3 goals and 3 assists in 9 games isn’t something to be looked down upon.
So why wait, if you are a KDB owner, you could easily switch back to Salah. He faces West Ham, Nottingham Forrest, and Leeds in the next 3 games. Games that he most likely will get some attacking returns.
